What Is Truth?

I know everyone has their own idea of what truth is. In many cases you will hear the statement “That may be your truth but it is not my truth.” Or “How do you know?” The truth can not be found in any book but these books may provide insight into finding your truth. Each person has to find their own truths it is whatever resonates with them, That is your current truth which may change over time as more facts are brought to light.

Finding the real truth is a process that progress over time. Even I have to admit the truths I believe in today may change tomorrow. That is because I am always learning and growing. I have made the choice to follow the path that will bring me more inline with the Higher Source. Believe me when I tell you that I have exposed myself to many different teachings by many different teachers over time. That is because I am in search for my own truths.

The fact is I have not arrived yet because I know that it is process that will change as I change over time. There is no one that will admit that they have arrived because the more you learn the more you realize that there is so much more out there that you do not know about. That is what life is all about and that is what is so exciting about life. After all these years of learning I know that there is even more to learn about.

So going back to the original question “What Is Truth?” My definition will have to be that truth is “The process of growing closer to the Higher Source.” This is not something that takes place overnight. It is an ongoing process of learning and unlearning because what we learn today may have to be unlearned tomorrow when more information is provide. Everything is always changing even the scientific truths have had to change over time and now some scientist are even going back to old religious teachings trying to find clues to answer their questions.

So what is your truth? I would have dare to say that your truth is you current relationship the Higher Source. No matter where you are at on your path it is alright. You can only work with the fact you are currently aware of. Have faith because more will become available to you when the time is right. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” Prov.3 Verses 5 to 6. KJV
